Kathy Hopkinson brings 13 years of experience and expertise within the Healthcare and Consumer Packaged Goods Sectors of Market Research to her role as Research Director with Robin Cooper Research Group.

Well versed in a variety of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, Kathy is a sought-after moderator, providing solid research and soliciting intriguing insights through in-depth interviews, focus groups, ethnographic and on-line research. Her experience with different target groups includes general practitioners and specialists, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, nurses and patients, as well as key opinion leaders, business executives and decision makers within the healthcare and consumer environments.

Kathy has developed expertise in drugs, devices and diagnostic instruments, working within the therapeutic areas of Chronic Disease Vaccinations, HAI’s (and the political repercussions thereof), Alzheimer’s Disease, Arthritis, Coronary Stents, Diabetes, Diabetic Blood Devices, Diabetic Foot Ulcers, Erectile Dysfunction, GI Disorders, Hormone Replacement, Anti-depressants, Birth control, Medical Instruments, Medical Logos, Orthopaedic Implants, Psoriatic Arthritis, and Surgical Adhesives.

Kathy has also had the opportunity to work with leading Consumer Packaged Goods companies, providing insights and analysis on products ranging from canned soup to yogurt.

Kathy has a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, a Master of Science in Marketing Management and a Moderator’s Certificate, including extensive coursework in marketing and market research methodologies, techniques and analysis.

Before joining Robin Cooper Research Group Kathy worked with Cooper & Henshaw MRI, IFOP-Canada Market Research, and Goldfarb Consultants (now part of the Millward Brown Research Group).
